The Purple Martin Clubhouse, established in 2002, is an interactive site where Purple Martin landlords, wannabies, and nature lovers meet, learn, and have fun. We ask questions, discuss products (pros and cons), share links, and discuss just about anything Purple Martin related, and nature related as well. We hope you will join us, as we help each other care for “our” Purple Martins, and other birds in our environment, by maintaining a safe and secure backyard habitat in which they will thrive.
You are invited to ask questions, share stories and photos, enjoy private or group chats, and enjoy the many features that the Purple Martin Clubhouse offers. We, also, provide a free personal email account for your convenience.
We offer a forum that we call News-- which currently has over 4000 posts so feel free to post and enjoy reading previous posts. The photo section, which currently has about 1800 photos, is available for you to post pictures of your site, your birds, housing ideas, etc. There is a file cabinet that offers files for you to download, or space for you to upload for everyone’s enjoyment. There are even free screensavers available that have been designed by our talented members. There is a section available for Off-Topic discussions. We conduct an Annual Gourd Growing Contest that provides lots of off-season fun.
